Over the year we have supplied our land rover tracking vehicle on different production. The projects have taking off and on road around Scotland.
We use the DJI Ronin 2 with Nodo wheels for DP or Camera Op.
Film Tracking E-Trike
Over 2022 our most booked tracking vehicle is our electric E-trike equipped with the ronin 2 or movi pro. Perfect for city work like Edinburgh and Glasgow, quiet and green the council loves it.
We can operate the gimbal by the controller or our Nodo wheels.
FPV Drones Scotland
Over the year we have been having great fun fying FPV drones on Dramas, TV and Commercials. Using them from in studios to out in the hills of Scotland.
Flying up to speeds of 70mph they add dynamic moves to tradition drone filming.

1000W LED Drone Light Scotland
It is out! An idea of our ours has come to life. Whitespace took this idea to Visit Scotland and it all kicked off from there!
Using a custom made 1000w LED light and a small team, we travelled to all four corners of Scotland to film famous landmarks.
For this project we used three drones; our heavy lift Alta 8 drone which carried the LED Drone Light, Inspire 2 X7 for the aerial shots and our custom-made FPV drone with a small LED light to tell the story of the "whisp" travelling through Scotland linking the locations.
Drones and Tracking Vehicle's Scotland
In 2020 we headed off for another exciting project supplying Inspire 2 - X7 and FPV drones and our land rover discovery tracking vehicle for a motorcycle road safety video. This video was fast-paced and full of action the kind of filming we like.

DJI Inspire 2 X7
Using our DJI Inspire 2 with X7 Camera we had the pleasure of shooting for a BAFTA Scotland Commercial.
Remote Heads
Recently on a drama Aerial Frontiers has suppled our ronin 2 as a remote head with a gimbal tech. Working with the grips we mounted the gimbal in car for social distancing measures with the DP operating the gimbal from the tracking vehicle.
Alexa Mini LF - 75mm master anamorphic
OSC - No Standard Flight Permissions
Aerial Frontiers has just been granted an OSC up to 20m for all their pilots from the CAA.
The CAA rules state you can not fly closer than 50m from people and structures out of your control, with this OSC we can fly 20m from people and structures out of our control making permissions easier and more creative control.
Also with this OSC gathering over 1500 people we can fly up to 75m from the crowd instead of the standard 150m.

Drone Light
We have been working on an exciting project this year. Working with Whitespace and Visit Scotland around Scotland flying a 1000w LED drone light custom built by our selfs.

At the start of the year, we had the pleasure of working on the new Landrover defender lanch in the highlands of Scotland.

Drone and Tracking Vehicle Commercial Scotland
Second year running we had the pleasure of working on Bike Road Safety Scotland Video.
For this project we supplied Drones for aerial filming, we used two diffrent aircrafts. DJI Inspire 2 with X7 for quick action shot with highspeeds. The Freefly Alta 8 Octocopter with Movi Pro for the hero shot with dynamic moves.
Our Audi A3 was used for tracking shots equipped with the Flowcine black arm and the Movi Pro. The Movi pro was also used on the Heavy lift drone for quick turn arounds from drone to tracking Vehicle and hand held.
Camera set up we used on Drone and Tracking Vehicle - Red helium 8k with Angenieux 15-40mm.
HBO Drama Drone Filming
At the start of the year, we had the pleasure of working on HBO tv show Succession session 2. Crediting us to be the first and only drone aerial company in Scotland, certified to work on HBO sets.
For this drama, we flew our Freefly Alta 8 octocopter equipped with Movi Pro. Flying Alexa Mini - Angenieux 15-40mm.
BBC Drama Drone Aerial Filming
End of 2018 we had the pleasure of supplying drone aerials on BBC drama trust me 2 flying our octocoper with Movi Pro with Alexa Mini - Kowa anamorphic.
All permissions for flying for in Glasgow and Glasgow air traffic control were gained by Aerial Frontiers.

We headed to Skye with Filming Scotland to shoot for Samsung new 8k OLED TV. We loaded up our kit onto our backs at 5am and made the hike up the old man of storr to shoot drone aerials for the TVC flying Alexa Mini - Angenieux 15-40mm.
